The Mini Cooper has an extremely long heritage in racing. From it's begginings, the car was always a small, quick and nimble automobile that was extremely fun to drive. It wasn t very powerful, but it had amazing handling. In 2002, BMW took over the production of the Mini Cooper; redesigning the Mini Cooper which had gone untouched for so many years wasn t an easy task, but BMW managed to bring the compact car to modern appeal.

When BMW started to produce the Mini Cooper, they incorporated their own long line of racing heritage and racing technology in the project to come up with the Mini Cooper that you see today. With it s Bulldog-Like stance, light weight, and low center of gravity the Mini Cooper was designed to handle.

The only downside to the Mini Cooper was that the suspension, although sporty, was still on the conservative side sacrificing performance for a more refined comfort that BMW has to uphold. The suspension is all good and well for the average driver but it simply won t do for the tuner who demands the most from his/her Mini Cooper. For this reason, Megan Racing has developed suspension components for the Mini Cooper to fine tune and refine the handling of your track-machine or daily-driver.

If you alter your suspension components, the chances are you will be changing the geometry of your suspension and will have the need to re-align your car to compensate for the changes you ve made.

Megan Racing now offers Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms for the 2002-2006 Mini Cooper and Mini Cooper S. Constructed of a lightweight yet durable Steel Alloy and powdercoated with a 3-Stage process to a blue-metallic finish. These control arms feature a turn-buckle style adjustment in the center of the arm for easy adjustment and anti-dust pillow ball ends for a more direct feel without compromising comfort.

Due to the layout of the Mini Cooper and Cooper S, these bars will fit in two locations for the rear suspension. They can either be set to adjust camber or to adjust toe depending upon where they are installed. For best results and the ultimate in adjustability you can purchase two sets of arms and complete your rear suspension setup.

    Nissan S13/S14/Z32 Subframe Bushing Collars

    Perhaps the biggest improvement that can be made on your drift car, these Solid Aluminum Subframe bushings eliminate the soft rubber bushings that go between the subframe and the chassis. The OEM bushings will absorb energy and soften weight transfer that can be used more effectively to initiate a drift. These Subframe Bushings insert into the OEM bushings and are compressed during installation to remove any play that might be in the connection between the Subframe and Chassis. This makes for a solid and more direct connection that allows the rear-end to remain rigid and firm under stress.

    The 240SX/Silvia is an amazing platform in all it s generations. The FR-Drivetrain and it s light weight offer a perfect balance between speed and agility. Used in a wide range of motorsports such as drag, drift, autocross, road race and even rally the 240SX has proven it s worth time and time again.

    As a street car, it s refined and well mannered, comfortable to drive in and stylish with a bit of aggression in it s curves. Although it s initial design was sporty and aggressive it was still designed as a street car.

    Those who seek the most from their car know that in the rigors of competition you need to extract every ounce of performance from your machine. You need the capability to have every degree of adjustment above and beyond that of a street driven vehicle. You need the strength to withstands the stresses and strains of hard corners, a rough course and brutal weight transfer and chassis flex.

    It is within this understanding that Megan Racing has unveiled our line of reinforced suspension arms that offer the strength and adjustment that any comptition vehicle will ever need. Constructed of high-strength steel alloys that offer durability, strength and yet remain light-weight, these control arms have been track tested for months in road race, autocross and drift events to assure quality and performance.

    These Roll-Center adapters are installed to correct suspension geometry after a car has been lowered. The uneven length of suspension arms causes Toe adjustments to occur drastially during braking suspension "squat", these Roll-Center Adjusters make up for the travel in the suspenion arms to return suspension geometry to it's correct starting point. This allows alignment and steering to remain more consistent and predictable during aggressive driving and competition.

    NOTE: Due to the complexity of the installation, professional installation is REQUIRED!

    Nissan 350z Adjustable Rear Lower Arms

    The 350Z is the next generation of the Fairlady, the Z33, and is Nissan s current dominating force in motorsports. With it s Naturally Aspriated 3.5L Quad-Cam V6 (VQ35DE) that boasts torque from Low-Mid Range to Redline the 350Z is an extremely well-adapted force in competition. In it s stock configuration it is capable of so much but is still watered-down from it s full potential due to the conservative restraints of Consumer marketing and comfort.

    The 350Z is a heavy-machine weighing over 3,200lbs and is plagued by body roll and a soft spring-rate for the comfort of the masses. For this reason Megan Racing has decided to develop numerous products to enhance the performance and bring out the full potential of the 350Z/G35 on both the street and track.

    Alignement is crucial to the handling of your vehicle. Remembering that the only thing that touches the ground is your "Contact Patch" of your tires you have to make sure that your tires and wheels are doing exactly what you want. With this you must make sure you have the proper camber, caster and toe as well as make sure they are all working together and not against eachother.

    The 350Z/G35 is sensitive and "picky" when it comes to the way it responds to alignement characteristics. The way that the rear suspension is setup is pretty complicated when it comes down to adjustments being made. And all the soft bushings on the end of each arm that are designed for comfort can really give the car a sloppy feeling in the rear.

    For those who utilize an aftermarket Coil-Over system that REMOVES THE USE OF THE OEM SPRING PERCH, Megan Racing has developed an adjustable rear lower control arm that replaces the large heavy aluminum spring perch and it's soft bushings and replaced them with a powdercoated steel arm that has length adjustment and pilloball ends to remove any play in the suspension. The Powedercoated Steel Construction also adds for durability and wear against demanding competitive conditions and rough driving surfaces as well.

    Megan Racing is now taking on the AE86 Corolla GTS/SR5 by unveiling a series of performance parts. All the pieces are constructed of a high-strength steel alloy which allows them to retain lightweight characteristcs and are then powdercoated by a 3-Stage process to a brilliant metallic blue finish. The ends are constructed of Self-Lubricating ball joints which eliminate all play and binding normally associated with aftermarket 4-Link systems.
