Megan Racing Headers
Megan Racing raises the bar with high performance polished racing headers that are a direct bolt on, and do not require modification to install. These Megan Racing headers are a direct fit header, and are built to increase power and torque in each specific application. Some Megan Racing headers are a 4-1 design, which is more for top end power, and some Megan Racing headers are a 4-2-1 design, which is designed more for mid range, and top end.
All Megan Racing headers come with everything necessary for a bolt on installation. Each set comes with a Megan Racing exhaust manifold gasket, and all new bolts. In cases where the oxygen sensor gets relocated, Megan Racing includes an o2 sensor extension. These headers do not throw a check engine light.
We are an authorized Megan Racing dealer, and have a large stock of polished headers. Unlike other vendors who are not authorized, we are able to extend to you the full Megan Racing one year warranty.
Please note: The Megan Racing B18C1 GSR header has a special 2.5" exhaust outlet. This JDM style outlet provides the most power for your engine. You will need a 2.5" inlet on your catalytic converter or your cat delete pipe (test pipe) to ensure a smooth fit.

What is the difference between a 4-1 and a 4-2-1 header?
When Megan Racing designs their headers, they use the best design for each specific application. This ensures each header makes the most power possible on each particular engine. Some engines are better top end performers, and others perform better in the mid range.
A 4-1 Header is a header that fits 4 cylinder engines. That is the first part in the "4-1". The 1 symbolizes that the header pipes come into one where they meet the rest of the exhaust.

You can see in the picture above, how all 4 exhaust tubes come into one at the end. This is a 4-1 header. Typically 4-1 headers produce more top end power, and work best on engines that are high revving or have a power band that is around redline.
Megan Racing also makes 4-2-1 headers. This means they go from 4 to 2 to 1. This design is typically beneficial for motors that are lower revving, and make most of their power in the mid range. This helps the engine realize it's best power potential.
