Acura Competition Clutch Kit Stage 5
Competition Clutch has two variations of their Stage 5 clutch kit. There is the 1420 and the 0420. You can tell which is why by looking at the part numbers. If the part number ends in 0420, it's the 0420, and if it ends in the 1420, it's the 1420.
Competition Clutch Stage 5 - 1420
Stage 5 - Strip Series 1420 Clutch Kit
This assembly, available with a double spring, six rivet carriage is good for ease of gear transition with higher horsepower. This disc complimented by a performance pressure plate provides 300% increase in torque capacity. 300 mile break-in recommended with this set-up. The 1420 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a four puck high torque sprung disc Ceramic buttons, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.
Competition Clutch Stage 5 - 0420
Stage 5 - Strip Series 0420 Clutch Kit
This assembly, available with a rigid plate is good for penetrating engagement with higher horsepower applications. This disc complimented by a performance pressure plate provides 300% increase in torque capacity. 300 mile break-in recommended with this set-up. The 0420 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a four puck high torque rigid disc with Ceramic buttons, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.
