COBB AccessPORT
The Cobb AccessPORT is one of the easiest way to tune your car's ECU by using a hand-held ECU Flash tool. The COBB AccessPORT installs easily with no tools, no wire cutting or anything, and no laptops required! This unit allows you to fine tune your ECU by replacing the factory settings with custom settings to bring out the full power potential of your vehicles. By fine tuning your car, you get the most power production possible, and the ability to quickly and easily go back to factory settings!
One of the problems before with ECU tuning was you would normally have to start with a clean base map that had no information, and you would literally have to program the ECU from the ground up, even when to turn your radiator fans on! Not so with the COBB AccessPORT, because COBB provides you with several complete base maps that are pre configured and ready to go, so you get performance right from the start! The Cobb AccessPORT also keeps your factory driveability in check, so your car doesn't have to be a pain to drive in your daily traffic commute just because it's modified.
We recommend for those of you with modified vehicles to have your car tuned on the dyno to get the most out of your AccessPORT. You can also switch maps easily, so say for example you have a race gas map for the track, and a pump gas map for the street... you can quickly and easily switch between tunes with just a few clicks. Got a long boring drive? Switch to the fuel economy map. Having a valet park your car? Load the valet map, so your car can't be revved higher than 3200 rpm! There is even an anti-theft map that doesn't allow the car to start when you are parking it for long periods of time.
You can also use the hand held unit to do everything from data logging to viewing live data, clearing and reading check engine codes, and more. Taking a trip to the dealer? Restore the ECU to it's factory settings, and you're done... quick and easy. The best hand-held tuner on the market!
