The AEM Brute Force Intake Kit is available in silver and also polished. The silver powdercoat is more popular with off roaders because the finish is easier to maintain and those with diesels to kee othe intlet pipe from heat soaking. If you are using the AEM Brute Force on a truck with a body lift, you need to ensure that you have an engine mount lift as well, or the intake will not fit properly. Each intake is designed to mount to the throttle body and chassis. If you have a suspension lift, you should not be affected since the engine and chassis maintain their apsect ratio.
Depending on your application, some intakes come with the heat shield. Not all applications come with this, it depends on if AEM has determined that your particular application can benefit from the heat shield with the AEM Brute Force Intake Kit.
