Cadillac CTS-V ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Kit
The ACT Heavy Duty Clutch kit is made by Advanced Clutch Technology is provides increased torque and horsepower holding capacity over the stock clutch. Not only does the ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Kit increase torque capacity, it also is designed and built tough so it can take many more launches, drag races, and competition use over a weak stock clutch.
The ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Kit is great for cars that demand more clutch, but are daily driven, and want something that engages smooth and with confidence. The clutch kit increases clamp loads from 20 to 50%, and has a stock to moderate pedal feel. You can definitely feel that you have a performance clutch, and in our opinion the ACT provides some of the best feel of any clutch kit. The ACT Heavy Duty comes in your choice of disc, with street disc being the most streetable, then 6 puck and then 4 puck. The less pucks the harsher the engagement and the less streetable the clutch, but the more power it holds. The sprung disc offers more streetability by reducing vibration and less shock during gear engagement.
The ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Kit comes with a Genuine ACT Pressure Plate, and Genuine ACT clutch disc. Depending on the application, your kit might also come with an alignment tool, release bearing or throw out bearing, and pilot bearing. Previously known as the ACT 2100 or ACT Stage 1 clutch kit.
